Lori Heller, President

Lori began her career on Bay Street working in Syndication & Debt Capital Markets at CIBC World Markets and eventually moved into event marketing, sponsorships and donations. With the knowledge and experience under her belt, she decided to launch her own Event Management Company in 1998. Nearly 12 years later, Heller Productions has raised the bar in the events industry and has gained a reputation as one of Canada’s finest event boutique companies. The name alone is synonymous with precision, personal edge, vision and flair.

Heller Productions has created and produced events for David Foster Foundation, Grand Cru Culinary Wine Festival, Vinifera Wine Lovers’ Gala, President’s Cup and countless corporate events, golf tournaments, conferences, award galas, and incentive trips around the world.

Lori embodies a perfect blend of creative thinking, personal service and attention to detail. Leaving her clients content and satisfied is not only a skill she has developed over the last decade, but a passion she holds strongly. Susan Johnston, Director of Events and Operations

With over 15 years of experience in the Industry, and no stranger to the world of special and corporate events, Susan brings a wealth of knowledge and invaluable expertise to the Heller Productions team.

Her foray into the world of high profile events stemmed from her degree in Marketing and her subsequent experience with Management, Sales, Customer Service, Food & Beverage, Recreation, Hotels and Theatre. Susan has managed a vast array of events – from small, high profile groups of 6 to large, multi-faceted conferences for 500+; from National Sales Meetings, to Indy CART, Formula 1 race and LPGA hospitality programs. She also has 4 Olympics under her belt: 1998 in Nagano, Japan; 2000 in Sydney, Australia; 2008 in Beijing, China; and 2010 in Vancouver, Canada.

Susan’s unwavering dedication and keen eye for detail, along with her natural exuberance and the fact that she is the consummate team player have propelled her to the fore of her profession.

Rebekah Balik, Event Coordinator

Rebekah graduated with honours from Algonquin College’s Public Relations Program. She did her internship with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind’s fundraising department.

Her work experience ranges from administration for a large international events company to communications for a small land development firm. She travelled across Europe and North and South America in hopes of gaining life experience and understanding different worldviews. Her international experience and administrative skills is what makes her a valuable asset to the Heller Team.

Emily Delaney, Event Coordinator

Emily began her career in conference & corporate event planning for a 100-partner law firm in Miami, Florida. After 3 years of working with the firm, she decided to pursue a Master’s degree from the University of Michigan, School of Social Work with an interest in fundraising and development. While earning her degree she continued to work in the industry as an event manager planning special events for Detroit Electronic Music Festival and young professional organizations. Emily has gained additional experience as a fundraising volunteer with the Junior League, Boys & Girls Republic & Windfall Basics nonprofit organizations. Upon relocating to Toronto, Emily worked with Designing Trendz as a Sales & Event Manager in the production and design of social, corporate and non-profit events. Emily’s keen eye and attention to detail coupled with her never-ending contagious enthusiasm make her a great asset to the HPI team and each project she is involved with.

Amy Thiessen, Administration

Amy graduated with a diploma in fashion design after studying at both Pacific Design Academy and Ryerson University; Amy brings an eagerness and style to the Heller Team. Her experience, as an intern for a high-end design company and administration in a web-based geography company has given her a working knowledge of graphic design and a love of all things print-related. Amy’s eye for intricate detail is what makes her a valued team member at Heller Productions Inc.

Leslie Kyriacou

Leslie Kyriacou has been a vital identity in the design industry for more than 35 years in both the national and global arenas. Her conceptual design elements and the production details are creatively directed to produce outstanding results for a broad spectrum of clients in both the corporate and art worlds. Canada”s Walk of Fame, The Toronto International Auto Show, The Canadian Film Centre Gala & Fundraiser, and The National Ballet School of Canada are just a few clients that Leslie is proud to work with. Leslie’s creativity has ensured remarkable décor at many Heller events and will continue to wow our clients and event guests.

Felicia Chapheau, Intern

Felicia Chapheau graduated from The Centre for Arts and Technology with a Diploma in Event and Promotions Management in 2009. Some of her greatest event planning accomplishments to date have included working Toronto Fashion Week and the 2010 Junos. Prior to joining Heller Productions Felicia spent the past year expanding her event knowledge in the Music Industry coordinating various concerts around Toronto. This gave Felicia the experience of working with venues of every size as well as a broad range of clients throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Bringing an array of talent and the insight from an incredible four month trip to South East Asia under her belt, Felicia had to learn to step out of her comfort zone to learn to take on new adventures and challenges. Felicia thoroughly enjoys every aspect of event planning and Heller is pleased to have her on board.
